Centre Spot

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The Centre Spot Community Partnership Programme is a community relationship building strategy. Through respectful intervention, Centre Spot seeks to transform the lives of young people who fall into the ‘socially excluded’ bracket, including disadvantaged young people, young people with a need for education and employment training (NEET), young people from ethnic minority groups, young people from low income families, young people suffering from mental health issues, and young people with disabilities.

Through a structured programme of sports and education Centre Spot helps build confidence and self-esteem, improve physical and mental wellbeing, extend social networks, and develop skills towards long-term education, employment and independence, as a means of building safer, stronger neighbourhoods.

Centre Spot works in partnership with various organisations and funders, to deliver a variety of collaborative projects with an element of sports and physical activity as a focus. In the past we have delivered projects to community groups and the wider community, which have incorporated Arts and Craft, Media, Music and Design.

We are always looking for opportunities to work collaboratively with other likeminded organisations. If you would like to work in partnership with Centre Spot, or will like to find out more about our current community projects, please get in contact by emailing info@centrespot.org.

WORK WITH FUNDERS

We work with funders to seek and deliver funded projects for the benefit of the children and young people we work with. Although we are not solely reliant on funding, we ensure that we are in a position to apply for funding when with a project idea and need.
